Key Personnel

Mike Kattawar (CEO)

Mike graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelors of Business with a concentration in Business Management. He started in the Logistics Industry by working in the hub at FedEx 4 days a week and loading trucks for Carolina Freight at night after school and baseball.

In 1999, Mike started Katt Worldwide Logistics as Founder and CEO. Katt was the first of its kind because Mike had a vision to offer all services such as staffing, transportation, warehousing, distribution, air freight, freight bill audit and payment, LTL negotiations and many additional services under one roof. This visualization stemmed from Mike learning that the client’s decision maker controls all of these services.

In 2002, Mike purchased Professional Transportation and rebranded it into Katt Transportation. This was the one missing link from Mike’s service offering at Katt which was Intermodal Rail Solutions.

In 2006, a private equity partner invested in Mike and where he was taking the business. In 2007, the EBITDA increased by 15% and the same in 2008.

In 2010, the private equity partner purchased the remaining Katt Worldwide interest from Mike.

In 2014, Mike purchased Power Express, Inc. and Traffic Consultants, Inc. which he did sales for before he opened Katt Worldwide.
